Catdoor Installation Instructions
#1 Open window and install the foam weather strip as shown above |
#2 Apply the double sided tape to the end wings of the catdoor, place
catdoor in the window on the foam strip and slide the wings out equally on
each side until they fit into the groove or channel that the window slides
in and the double sided tape makes contact.
After you are satisfied with fit insert the screws through the holes in
the plastic channel to hold the wings in place. |
#3 Apply the foam weather strip to the top of the catdoor to create a
good weather seal. |
#4 Slide the window down against the catdoor for a window and cut the
prop stick sent with the catdoor to fit above the window to hold it down
securely in place (very low tech but it has worked for years to hold
windows in place). |
#5 Teach your cat to use the catdoor for a window and reward it
generously . |
